Better than a thousand hollow words is one word that brings peace

Oh, I'm so glad you wrote this post. It's been confounding listening to and reading the various comments out there.
This hands President Obama a heavy mantle. I loved that he took some hours to compose himself and to compose the quintessential statement of graceful acknowledgment later in the day.
What history we are living now.

The promise of what might come-- the hope --is what he is being honored for-- the uphill battles he has to fight daily against all odds-- even in his own party is staggering.
